No Modification to Blockchain
In a normal database, any data can be changed, updated, or deleted. Blockchain is different: only new information can be added. By its design, existing information can never be updated or deleted.
MongoDB stores documents in collections
Collections are analogous to tables in relational databases. If a collection does not exist, MongoDB creates the collection when you first store data for that collection.
